Dr. Dennis Vixie is the unsung hero of the early development of Nike shoes.

Vixie was my orthotician while I was at the University of Oregon.

In addition to making orthotics for me, twice he made the whole shoe.

The first pair is the prototype of the Waffle Trainer - Shoes 2.

The second pair is the prototype of the LD-1000 in Oregon green and yellow - a beautiful and spectacular shoe - Shoes 3.
