The first Pacific Coast Conference Track and Field Championship Meet was held in 1919, and the subsequent meet locations are listed in the program. Interestingly, it says that the 1928 meet was held in Missoula; I am not sure why this might be but would welcome more information.
Heartbreakingly, it says: "No meets: 1929-35, 1943-47" - the Great Depression and World War 2.
Each participating school is represented in the program by a photo of an outstanding athlete from that school, as follows, in order of appearance:
George Rassmussen, Oregon, Pole Vault
Jack Hensey, Washington, 880 Yard Run
Otis Chandler, Stanford, Shot Put
Charles Hanger, California, High Jump - portrayed using the scissors kick
Bob Laidlaw, Oregon State, Broad Jumper
Joe Nebolon, Washington State, 440 Yard Dash
Craig Dixon, U.C.L.A., Hurdles
Mel Patton, Southern California, Sprints
And in a sign of the times, the entire back cover is an advertisement for Chesterfield cigarettes.
