Oregon's Mike McClendon won the 1500m in 3:46.5, while Graham Hutchinson of Washington State won the steeplechase in 8:47.0. In a memorable typo in the Eugene Register-Guard, it has McClendon winning the 1500 in a time of 1:46.5 - a mighty fine 1500 time under any circumstances!
