Dave Voorhees won the discus in 187-7, while Al Dukowski won the 220 in 21.1.
Paul Geis won the three-mile in 13:23.8, Terry Williams was second in 13:28.8, while Dave Taylor finished 3rd in 13:37.2.
The Eugene Register Guard' s John Conrad noted of this dual meet race that Geis, Williams, and Taylor's preformances ranked them #3, #5, and #10 on Oregon's all-time list.
