Original Tiger Cortez - TG-24 

Pre-1969

Part of Onitsuka Tiger's legendary Mexico 66 line.

As these are intact Blue Ribbon sports shoes - that is, imported to the United States and not altered by changing the soles to waffles - these shoes anchor the collection. 

These come before the waffle soles. 

The cut in the heel is reminiscent of the 'cut history' of the leather Cortez shoes in the collection as well as the cut in the Waffle Trainer prototypes - see Shoes # 2, #5, and #12.
