Dennis Vixie is, with Bill Bowerman, Phil Knight, and Dr. Stan James, one of the four co-holders of the waffle sole patent.

Vixie was my orthotician when I was at the University of Oregon.

Vixie relasted these shoes to a straight last:

*flared bottom - he reduced the heel lever which reduced the shock force

*rocker bottom

*forefoot – beveled the front

*I have the receipt for these shoes in Vixie's handwriting.
